ABOUT

THE ARTIST
I was born in New Brunswick, Canada, and spent my childhood in the community of Cocagne. I later moved to Grande-Digue, where my family and I established our home, and I continue to live there today. In 2022, I retired after a 40-year career as a researcher in the field of river hydrology. My primary area of research focused on understanding and modeling river temperatures.

My interest in photography began in high school when I purchased my first 35 mm camera. Around 2008, I transitioned to digital photography, which further expanded my creative possibilities. I enjoy many genres of photography, including nature, landscapes, flowers, and night photography. I am particularly drawn to fine art photography, where creativity can transform an image and evoke a unique mood and perspective.

For me, photography is also about capturing moments in time and sharing them with others. Most of my photographs have been taken throughout the Maritime region, whose natural beauty continues to inspire me.

I hope you enjoy my photographs as much as I enjoyed capturing these images and the beauty of our environment.
